08. Term Project Report [Lily Li]

A(rduino) Music Box is an interactive instrument created with an Arduino, an IR range sensor, and a speaker. The idea is to create a fun and interactive musical instrument. Since the IR range sensor senses white objects better, I decided to place the arduino + breadboard etc in a tissue box so the user can simply interact with the rangefinder with tissues instead of using their hands which have a less surface area.

How It Works
The IR range finder senses an object and depending on the distance, the speaker will play a different tone. The project plays in C and has the range of one octave.
